Another Tie

"Gee, thanks! Another reindeer tie!"
Dad says with a sigh,
as he tries not to cry,
Christmas joy gone bye-bye.

Disappointment is the gift that’s unwrapped
when Christmas shopping’s not mapped
and you find yourself strapped,
your face soon to be slapped.
